The typical mileage's of the vehicles we hold in stock range from 10,000 to 160,000 miles.

Low Mileage VW's:


Generally, low mileage VW's have been the preserve of the VW franchised dealer network which only stocks VW's under 3 years old and up to 40-50k miles maximum.

As a result the prices that these VW's are offered to the public at is vastly inflated.

However, we offer VW's of comparable age and mileage for considerably less.
So are there any differences between buying from a franchised dealer compared to buying from us?

Our VW's are immaculately presented, drive faultlessly and come with documented service history just as you would expect from a franchised dealer.

Our VW's will also have the balance of the VW warranty which runs to 3 years or 60k miles whichever is sooner, which will be passed to you, exactly what you would get from a franchised dealer.

But, our overheads are substantially lower which we reflect in the price our VW's are advertised at.

So the only thing you get from buying your low mileage VW from a franchised dealer is the same car at a higher price.

At least you will get a nice cold cup of water from a flashy water machine. But we have one of those too!

Average Mileage VW's:

The average mileage of a modern diesel car is approximately 20000 miles per year. The reason this is higher that the commonly perceived 12000 miles per year is that the vast majority of diesels are on a company lease scheme for the first 3 years of their life.

Diesel cars cost more to lease than petrol cars and the reason so many are is because the company car drivers wish to benefit from the outstanding fuel economy which is probably the same reason you are looking at our website.

With our average mileage VW’s we check that the service history is documented and that all additional works (i.e. Cambelts & tensioners) have been done at the required intervals. We also ensure that the specified mileage is warranted to us so we can in turn warrant it to you.
We also ensure that the VW has been cared for and well looked after by the person who has been driving it, both internally & externally. If we are dissatisfied with anything we find the VW will be rejected by us.

This means that all our average mileage VW’s will be presented in the best possible condition and, as with all our VW stock, will represent excellent value for money.

Higher Mileage VW's:

We regard higher mileage VW’s as those that have done in excess of 100000 miles in the first 3 years of their life.
We all are aware of the excellent build quality of VW’s and at this sort of mileage the engine will have just run in!
Needless to say then that the areas we check on our higher mileage VW’s are the same as for average mileage but we pay particular attention to the bodywork & interior.

On average over half of the VW’s we see in this mileage category are a bit tatty. But every now and again we will find one that looks absolutely amazing with only the milometer revealing the distance travelled. These are the ones we stock.

Higher mileage is not something to be afraid of because of the reliability of the Volkswagen product. As the mileage is reflected in the sale price what is does do is allow our customers to purchase a newer VW than they could usually afford with their budget.

We will always accurately describe to you any vehicle you may be interested in during our initial telephone conversation or Email. Furthermore we will happily Email you further images of the VW you are interested in should you wish to have them.

This means that you will be made fully aware of all aspects of the vehicle's condition & specification which enables you to make an informed choice as to whether you wish to travel for a pre-booked viewing.

This ensures that there are no 'nasty' surprises for you to discover within 5 minutes of arrival which are of no benefit to anyone.

All our main VW Diesel stock vehicles under go a service history validation, HPI check, rigorous pre-delivery inspection, Cam Belt and idler change if due within 1000 miles, full valet and come supplied with a 3 month insurance based Warranty Package with a per claim limit of the purchase price of the car as standard (subject to terms & conditions) for your peace of mind, unless otherwise stated. The majority of our main VW Diesel stock vehicles are VAT qualifying vehicles having previously been Company owned, which means when the vehicle was purchased new the VAT was reclaimed by the purchaser.

Subsequently, if you require the vehicle for FULL BUSINESS USE ONLY and you are VAT Registered, you may be able to recover VAT on the sale under our VAT reclamation scheme. This does not affect the purchase price for normal sales.
